Welcome to my legislative website. Thank you for entrusting me to represent you in Olympia. It’s a responsibility I take very seriously. This website is where you can quickly find a variety of information on my priorities and biography, press releases, and other items of interest.
Through my experience, I have learned in order to get things done for you, it takes a combination of hard work, the ability to work across the aisle and, most importantly, to listen to your needs to ensure my focus is in the right direction.
This is your government and your feedback is important to me. My door is always open to you and I want to hear your opinions on issues you care about. Please call, write or send an e-mail with your concerns, suggestions or questions anytime.

Decades of mismanaging our state forests has led to several wildfire seasons that have devastated communities, homes, and families across Washington. I'm working to bring field-tested, common-sense solutions to managing our forests and getting more training and equipment to the right people, in the right places, more quickly.Read about Kretz's efforts to make forests more resilient, reduce fuel loads, and create firebreaks
I believe Washington's rural families deserve protection from the progressive policies emanating from Seattle and other urban centers. Our rural economies have too often been sacrificed for the feel-good environmental beliefs that bring little environmental benefit at too high a cost to our rural way of life. I will continue to fight for all Washington families.Read Kretz's interview with SHIFTWA on the legislative session
