Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I recently joined with my seatmates, Rep. Jacquelin Maycumber and Sen. Shelly Short, in sending out our 2022 legislative session review for 7th Legislative District residents. If you didn't get one, or if you haven't had a chance to look it over yet, I've included it below for your convenience.
I also have a new legislative website that you can visit here. It has links to things I've worked on, my legislative priorities, and more. I encourage you to visit it.
You can also visit our caucus website here. There is a ton of useful information – from public safety issues, to budget and taxes; from housing issues, to firearms. There's also a “Ten Things Every Washingtonian Should Know” page here.
Due to election-year restrictions that begin May 16, this is the last email update you'll receive from me until after the November general election results are certified. Unless there is a special session called (Perhaps to reform the governor's emergency powers? Probably not).
However, I am your state representative year round and my office is available if you have any questions or concerns about state government or any of the issues in our newsletter. There is a lot going on right now, folks, and I encourage you to stay involved.
As always, thank you for reading my updates and for allowing me the honor of serving you in the Legislature.
Sincerely,

Joel Kretz
